With racing in my family, visits to KY where racing is a focus with the Kentucky Derby,
I made this piece called 'Southern Star".
My mother made the jacket and I found racing antiques to compliment the piece.

Pavlova is a traditional dessert served in New Zealand and I love making it for my host and her family.

The wind was quite strong when Valerie visited me in Wellington. Atop of Mt. Victoria the scenery is fantastic...and we were both quite cold there. Once down, it was time for hot coffee! |
On Valerie's second visit to New Zealand we ferried across to the South Island.
Sailing is not my favorite thing to do; I believe I was turning a little green, I was happy to set my feet back on land!
